Recommend it for couples visiting
The staff at the reception were warm and cute, didn't mind us checking in early, which was a lifesaver since we arrived with bags after a long flight. The breakfast selection was excellent, found various options that catered to all kinds of diets, really appreciated the attention to detail and the cleanliness of everything.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still worth it for the experience.

The Relexa Hotel impressed me with its great location near many attractions like Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall, making sightseeing really convenient. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, catering well to different diets, which I found quite refreshing. The room was comfortable, with good heating and amenities like a kettle for tea and coffee to start my mornings right. However, I faced some inconvenience with housekeeping that required prior notice for cleaning. This made the stay a bit less enjoyable when I wanted fresh towels or room tidiness. Also, I noticed some odd issues with the automatic lights turning on at night, which disrupted my sleep. Despite these difficulties, I appreciated the overall cleanliness of the room and the friendly demeanor of the staff, who were quick to help when asked. The atmosphere was mostly quiet and pleasant, just a few disturbances from outside noise during events. Overall, the hotel had a nice homey vibe, perfect for travelers looking to explore Berlin without breaking the bank.

the breakfast setup woudl've been charming if the drinks didn't require a trek halfway to another room. also, the spa was closed, which was ignored by the staff. how dare they not offer a welcome gift for this inconvenience. i was literally about to give a good review, but just couldn’t.

Convenient location with hidden quirks
The hotel boasts a prime location near Checkpoint Charlie, making sightseeing a breeze. The breakfast spread offered a delightful variety, energizing our mornings before we explored the city.
However, the smoke lingering in the hallways was quite bothersome, especially for a non-smoker like myself. A bit more attention to air quality would have enhanced the overall experience.

The location was spot on, just a quick walk to the S-bahn and popular spots like Checkpoint Charlie. Our room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessities. Not to forget, the bar staff were friendly, making our late-night drink runs enjoyable. Plus, coffee and tea were available all day, which was a nice touch!
One downside was the noisy conference facilities below. It made for some uncomfortable mornings when groups congregated early. Definitely something to keep in mind if you're looking for quiet.
